Responsible for complex supervisory, administrative and professional work in planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the Public Works Department. This position must have a complex understanding of water infrastructure and water treatment plant operations, streets, sanitary sewer and stormwater infrastructure and maintenance, parks and trail maintenance, vehicle maintenance, and other public works projects and programs. This position is responsible for budgetary and long-term planning for the Public Works Department and ensuring ongoing financial stability and operational efficiency of the department’s services, programs, initiatives, and facilities. This position reports to the Assistant City Manager and performs under limited direction. Position open until filled, with preference to applicants who apply by May 13, 2024. Starting salary range will be $112,985-$116,544.
